Aug. 20th, 2015 07:20 pmI took nearly double the length of walk that has become normal since our move to Comox. I don't do that well with elevations in walking trails, so it was a seat of the pants figuring out a route with the most gentle inclines. I settled on a way that went to downtown Comox, and ended up at a bakery that makes fire-baked pizza and artisan bread. That was a good place to stop for coffee. On the way home, I passed a part of the local golf course. Enjoyed watching two deer grazing around a green. Deer are so peaceful to watch, so gentle. Uphill walk most of the way back, and I just focused on putting one foot out before the other, repeat as necessary. All together a good day!
