Egypt's brouhaha

Before January 26th, if anybody gave a monkey's about Egypt and it's people, they hardly uttered a peep. Post January 26th, the Net is jammed with rubbernecking Egypt fans, everybody cheering for the poor sods who live there. It's like they've been secretly rabid about the topic for their whole lives! I guess it beats out watching hillbillies on Jerry Springer.
